Like many other medical strains, Jack Herer regular seeds were developed in Amsterdam during the 1990s. Its lineage can be traced back to a Sativa Haze and a Northern Lights Number 5 and Shiva Skunk cross. The strain is 55% Sativa and 45% Indica. Probably one of the "classic" Dutch strain it has maintained its place on coffeshop menus for over 25 years with very good reason.
Effects
The effects of Jack Herer have the ability to improve your mood, promote feelings of joy, and invigorate you, making it the ideal daytime strain. Growing
You can grow Jack Herer indoors or outdoors. However, you’ll produce better quality buds outdoors if you live in an area with warm fall weather. Temperatures between 70 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit, such as the Mediterranean climate, are ideal. These plants grow bushy and like to stretch, so make sure you leave enough space between them. Since this is a Sativa-dominant strain it can be vulnerable to overfeeding. Keep a close eye on this. Finally, the flowering time of this strain is anywhere from 10 to 12 weeks and it can yield up to 500 grams per M2.
