STRAIN TRAITS

Harle-Tsu Fem Seeds Information

Harlequin Tsunami (Harle-Tsu) is one of the most powerful medical cannabis flowers on the market. With a staggering 20-1 CBD/THC ratio, this well crafted cultivar has become a beacon of hope for those dealing with insomnia, ongoing pain, anxiety, and other issues.

Harle-Tsu was born after crossing the sativa Harlequin and the hybrid Sour Tsunami. It was first bred by Southern Humboldt Seed Collective. Since then, it has gone on to win the highest CBD award at the emerald cup in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

A negligible 1% THC content paired with an enormous 20-24% CBD range make it an appealing choice, especially for those unsuited to the psychoactive effects of THC.

Flowering in 8–10 weeks, this indica leaning (60-40) hybrid will reach a height of 75 cm-160 cm and yield a potential 450g/m2.

What are the effects of Harle-Tsu weed?

Relaxation is the aim of the strain. With no psychoactive symptoms, users can take full advantage of Harle-Tsu’s pain relieving, mood enhancing properties without fear of getting ‘too high’. Stress, anxiety, headaches and muscle cramps are alleviated while remaining clear headed and focused.

How does Harle-Tsu make you feel?

For those with muscle pain, anxiety, and/or headaches… Better.

Due to its analgesic properties, Harle-Tsu helps reduce inflammation from strained muscles. Reducing inflammation assists with the overall stress relieving effects of this highly sought after strain.

Medical uses

Most often used medically as a painkiller, stress reliever, antidepressant and muscle relaxant. The large amount of CBD, along with a pinch of THC (see entourage effect) work well with the abundant terpenes within to create a truly medical flower.

Growing Harle-Tsu Seeds

During the vegetative stage

While it’s not the hardest strain to grow, the best advice is to hold off growing Harle-Tsu until you have a firm understanding and ability around humidity/temperature control. While seedlings and young plants in veg are able to cope with less than ideal conditions, humidity and temperature play a critical role when it comes time to flower.

To control variables, it’s advised to grow indoors. Temperatures ideally should not exceed 27 degrees Celsius. Humidity should remain in the low 60% range during veg, but once again it’s not until the flowering stage that these things become crucial to get right.

Follow your feeding guide while keeping an eye out for any nutrient burn on the leaves. If you see any burn, the best thing to do is flush, then continue with a weaker solution.

During the flowering stage

Once you have decided to flip your plant/s to flower (switching lights from 18-6 to 12-12) you will notice the plant stretch over the coming days/weeks. Ensure humidity levels don’t exceed 50% throughout the flowering stage.

If using a SCroG net, trimming of any smaller branches/leaves under the net is advisable. This promotes air flow and gets the plant to direct available energy towards the new buds. Low stress training during flowering is recommended to ensure maximum exposure of the plant to light. Any high stress training should only be attempted during the veg stage, as you want all resources going to bud production during flower.

Is Harle-Tsu indica or sativa?

Harle-Tsu is an indica leaning (60-40) hybrid so it only reaches a height of 75-160 cm

Is Harle-Tsu suitable for beginners?

Growers report an average difficulty with Harle-Tsu, perfect for those with existing, reliable indoor setups. If you know your growing area/equipment/climate well, then there is no reason to avoid this amazing cultivar.

What is Harle-Tsu like to smoke?

On inhalation, Harle-Tsu is surprisingly sweet, with hints of citrus and pepper that linger.

What does Harle-Tsu taste and smell like?

Upon cracking open one of the grape shaped flowers, you are hit with an earthy/woody aroma that tails off especially for those with a nose.

A sweet taste is present due to an unignorable amount of the terpene Terpinolene.

What are the main terpenes in Harle-Tsu?

Harle-Tsu’s most abundant terpene is Myrcene, giving it the earthy herbal scent. Pinene gives it that pine forest stank, while the aforementioned Terpinolene adds some fruit to the equation.
