Details
Blue Dream Autoflower is a cross between the famous California strain Blue Dream and a hand-picked ruderalis. Cannabis ruderalis traces back to some Asian and Eastern European countries and these plants were able to adapt to harsh weather and environments. So, even without a predictable light cycle, they were still able to flower - hence the term autoflower, or auto for short. This plant is Sativa-dominant with a ratio of 70% Sativa and 30% Indica.
Effects
When you smoke a little of this strain the effects express themselves as happy, uplifting, and social. It can take the stress away from a busy or long day, and put your mind at ease. The more you smoke Blue Dream Auto the effects become more sedative and relaxing. Not strong enough to render you unable to move, but a nice sensation that can take away pain and help you get a restful night's sleep. Furthermore, because she's a quick flowering plant her THC levels aren't as high as her parent, but they're still very good at around 13 to 14%. Also, Blue Dream Auto has some small concentrations of CBD.
Growing
Despite being a Sativa strain, Blue Dream Autoflower finishes fast around 75 to 80 days from the time you seed to the time you harvest. Its structure is typically Sativa, long and rangy, with a dense bud structure that helps pump out yields of 400 grams per M2 and more if you're growing outdoors. However, due to its ruderalis genetics, the plant height is short and won't get much taller than 100cm if at all. This strain is an excellent choice for those looking to grow their own medical marijuana as this cannabis strain is not only very effective but is also very easy. It's resistant to many pests and is semi-mold resistant.
Appearance & Aroma
The buds on Blue Dream auto aren't as large as its photoperiod version, but they're still chunky and have thick stems. They have a shaggy growth pattern and are light green in color. But, some of the buds can display hues of blue and lots of trichomes given the right conditions.
While flowering, the aroma is faint in the sense that it won't alert the neighbors - a great characteristic for those trying to keep their grow on the down-low. On the plus side, you will have a stronger, more fruity, and citrusy aroma with hints of wood when you cure your trimmed buds for 30 or more days.

Tasting Notes
The taste and smell of Blue Dream Autoflower is very similar to its parent's sweet and subtle like wild blueberries. But, the ruderalis genetics give off a bit more of a grassy skunk taste. However, this goes away when you leave the buds curing for a long time. For instance, a long cure will give these nugs a seriously insane smoking flavour and smell of sweet fruit, citrus, and hazy notes.
